Born and raised in
Vienna, Austria, the world's musical capital Oliver soon was interested in singing, painting and helping his mum preparing family dinners. He financed his law studies as a musician/entertainer on stages throughout the world (Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Texas, California...). After gaining his doctorate from the university in Vienna he decided to work for the public media sector (TV-presenter, Radio-DJ) and developed a sincere knowledge of the food and wine scene in and around town. Hundreds of reports were produced about asparagus and morrels, berries and pumpkins as well as Sauvignon Blanc and Elder Syrup. His ability to write humorously and profundly soon was paired with his "eye" to see pictures he would depict with his camera. All of this led to four books about wine regions in and around his hometown of Vienna.
